St. John Broken Arrow Site Selected

Broken Arrow Development LLC has completed acquisition on a multi-purpose plot of land, to build a new hospital for the residents of Broken Arrow and surrounding communities.
The property, located at the northwest corner of Elm (161st Street) and Albany (61st Street), will house a new hospital, as well as space for commercial development.
The medical facility, to be named St. John Broken Arrow, will be built and owned by Broken Arrow Medical Facility LLC and managed by St. John Health System.
“The combination of Broken Arrow Medical Facility and St. John Health System will produce a hospital designed to meet the unique needs of Broken Arrow residents,” said Mike Prescott, principal, Broken Arrow Medical Facility. “Our experience offers valuable insights into the needs of a community hospital and will allow us to move quickly to offer Broken Arrow the medical facility its residents asked for and deserve.”
Preliminary plans for St. John Broken Arrow include a five-story, 84-bed, general acute care hospital designed to provide a wide range of healthcare services, including obstetrics and gynecology, emergency care, general surgery and all-digital diagnostic imaging services.
Additionally, a medical office building will be constructed and connected to the hospital.
Prescott fstated that the central location not only enables the delivery of important healthcare services to Broken Arrow residents, but also fosters Broken Arrow’s economic and community development.
Broken Arrow Development will be exclusively represented by Walman Commercial Real Estate Services LLC in the development and leasing of the commercial tracts surrounding the medical complex.
Hospital construction is expected to begin early 2008, with completion planned for summer 2009.
Development of retail space and pads will begin immediately.
