St. Simeon’s Breaks Ground on $17 Million Project

St. Simeon’s Episcopal Home has broken ground on a new 70,000-SF, $17.5 million Assisted Living and Wellness Center at Cincinnati Avenue, just north of 36th Street North.
The expansion will replace 40 existing 1960s-era apartments with 60 new assisted living apartments, a wellness center, and new activity, entertainment and dining centers.
The wellness center will include a therapy pool and areas for wellness programs for the facility residents, the number of which will grow to 200 with the expansion.
A second access road to the facility is also part of the expansion plans.
Matrix Architects and Engineers designed the facility, which is being built by Flintco.
