State Web Site One of Top Sites Nationally

Oklahoma’s official Web site is nominated as a finalist in the 2009 Best of the Web national competition for eGovernment achievement.
“To be recognized as one of the top 11 state Web sites in the nation is a great honor,” said Joe Fleckinger, Deputy Director of Information Technology of the Oklahoma Office of State Finance. “Since 2001, we have worked hard to make OK.gov an easy-to-use and comprehensive place for businesses and citizens to interact with the state. In the future, we plan to build upon this success by enhancing citizen interaction, managing important content effectively and efficiently, and building online services that save the state, citizens and businesses time and money.”
The state of Oklahoma launched a new version of OK.gov in April.
