Stubblefield to Serve as President of Vanguard Car Rental

Enterprise Rent-A-Car announced today that Greg Stubblefield, longtime Enterprise executive, will become President of Vanguard Car Rental following the completion of Enterprise’s purchase of Vanguard. Stubblefield, 48, currently serves as President of Enterprise’s operations in California and Hawaii.

On March 30, Enterprise announced it had entered into a definitive agreement to purchase Vanguard, which operates National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car in North America. The transaction is expected to close Aug. 1, 2007.

Immediately following the completion of the transaction, Vanguard Car Rental will operate as a free-standing subsidiary, separate from Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Both companies will be owned and operated by the Taylor family of St. Louis, founders and longtime owners of Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
