TTC Breaks Ground on $32 Million Expansion

Tulsa Technology Center has broken ground on a $32 million expansion project at its Broken Arrow Campus, 4600 S. Olive St., that will nearly double the size of the facility.
The 241,348-SF expansion project will increase the size of the facility to 366,396 SF of classrooms, laboratories and shops on the 57-acre site.
The project will combine 13 of Tulsa Tech’s transportation service programs under one roof and will include three expansion labs for future growth.
Faculty, students, administrators and dignitaries took up more than 60 shovels Nov. 2 to mark the start of construction, which is expected to last 18 months.
When completed, the building will house 16 classrooms and 13 labs. The project was designed by Matrix Architects, Engineers, Planners Inc. and is being built by Nabholz Construction.
