Tapp Installed President of AGC

Douglas J. Tapp, Vice President of Apache Construction Inc., was installed 2007 President of the Associated General Contractors of Oklahoma – Building Chapter, at the association’s 67th Annual Meeting, held January 27, 2007 at the Sheraton OKC Hotel.
Tapp graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1982 with a degree in Construction Management followed by a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering in 1984. Throughout his career he has worked for Flint Engineering, Crossland Construction and Lambert Construction. Mr. Tapp also has been a professor in the Construction Management Department at OSU.
In addition to his volunteer service to the AGC of Oklahoma, Mr. Tapp serves on the Oklahoma State University Construction Management Advisory Board, the Construction Education Partnership Board, and on the City of Stillwater Drainage Board of Appeals.
Apache Construction Inc., headquartered in Stillwater, with a branch office in Tulsa, is a commercial construction company offering a variety of construction services with a specialty in interior finish construction. Apache Construction was founded in 2000 by owner Marty Depperschmidt and wife, Jalene.
