Tickets Released for Former Presidents’ Presentation

Tickets to hear a presentation by former presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton May 2, have been released for sale to the general public at the BOK Center.
The newly released tickets are in a general seating area and are for hearing the former presidents speak. The event is a fundraiser held by The Salvation Army’s William Booth Society.
Previously, only reservations for a dinner and hearing the former presidents’ speeches were offered.
Proceeds from the benefit dinner will provide more than 300,000 meals and emergency services for almost 7,000 Tulsa area families in need. This year marks the 16th anniversary of the William Booth Society Dinner in Tulsa and the organization’s leaders believe this will be the largest amount ever raised for the Salvation Army in Tulsa.
Former presidents Bush, Sr. and Clinton have a history of teaming together for philanthropic causes, such as their efforts to help communities rebuild and recover following the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004, Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and Hurricane Ike in 2008. They will join again in support of The Salvation Army speaking on the theme of how people can give to their communities. The former presidents will each speak for 20 minutes, then answer questions which have been pre-submitted.
