Time Running Out on Charitable Challenge

Less than two weeks remain for the Tulsa Community Challenge — a matching challenge grant for basic needs and health services announced by Tulsa Community Foundation Dec. 7.
Public contributions can be made through the TCF Web site, at any Bank of Oklahoma branch and by CharityCall, a mobile platform that accepts charitable donations from AT&T Wireless users.
AT&T U.S. subscribers can contribute $25 to the Tulsa Community Challenge from any AT&T mobile device without entering an SMS text or exchanging private financial or user information. Donations can be made by dialing #505, listening to the instructions, then dialing 25, the code for the campaign.
Once a tax deductible $25 donation is made, the AT&T Wireless user will receive a text message
confirmation, including a link to the CharityCall Web site, where additional information is available, as is tax receipting. The $25 donation is a one-time charge automatically billed to the user’s AT&T Wireless monthly statement.
“The Tulsa Community Challenge program is an opportunity to not only give to agencies who offer basic services for needy Tulsans, but also double your impact through a dollar-for-dollar match from the George Kaiser Family Foundation,” said Phil Lakin, TCF chief executive officer.
