Tulsa Company Wins National Industry Award

D’Vontz, a Tulsa-based international fashion bath plumbing, design and manufacturing company, is the winner of three 2007 Awards for Design Excellence.
In May, ADEX announced that D’Vontz took home platinum awards—the top recognition—for its Metropolitan pedestal ensemble and Lautus natural stone Oval vessel sink. The company also received a gold award for its MDV modular cabinets entered into the vanities category.
The ADEX program is the largest and most prestigious award program for product design of furniture, fixtures and finishes, according to John Platter, ADEX’s executive director.
Entries are judged based on their form, function and fitness for a particular purpose. The top-ranking products in each category receive one of three awards—platinum, gold or silver.
D’Vontz was founded in 2004 by Tulsans Greg Hoff and John Kellerstrass. In its second year, the company’s sales doubled, and it leaders expect the same rate of growth in 2007.
The majority of the company’s products, which include sinks, vanities, pedestal sinks, vanity countertops, faucets and drain work, are designed in Tulsa and distributed nationally through showrooms, interior designers and other channels such as Ferguson Enterprises, Winnelson, George Morlan Supply, Southern Pipe and Supply, Baths by Design and Nolan.
