Tulsa County Medical Society to Inagurate 101st President

Steven B. Katsis, M.D., a Tulsa surgeon, will be inaugurated as the 101st president of the Tulsa County Medical Society in ceremonies scheduled for Saturday March 1, in the Hilton Hotel, 7902 South Lewis.

Dr. Katsis will receive the official gavel of office from TCMS immediate past president, George B. Caldwell, M.D.

In addition to the inauguration of Dr. Katsis, TCMS members who have retired within the past year will be honored for their years of service to their patients and the community.

Retired TCMS members to be honored include: Dr. Bob L. Bruton, Robert J. Capehart, Charles K. Harmon, John M. Kalbfleisch, Tchang M. Kim, Sung A. Lee, Don G. Nelson, William W. Sheehan, Michael B. Smith and Jimmy R. Strange.

Assisting in the inauguration will be the 16th President of the United States, the honorable Abraham Lincoln, portrayed by Hollywood actor Tom Katsis, father of Dr. Katsis.
