Tulsa County Newspaper Sells

The Tulsa County News has been sold by Neighbor Newspapers parent company Community Publishers, Inc. to Tulsa County Publishing, Inc. effective May 28.
Gary Percefull is president of Tulsa County Publishing, Inc. He and Linda Jordan will be co-publishers. Anna Brown, news editor will continue with the paper and has been named managing editor.
Tulsa County News has been published continuously since 1922 and will continue to be published by the new owners every Wednesday serving the Southwest Tulsa Communities of Berryhill, Carbondale, Garden City, Oakhurst, Red Fork, South Haven and Winnetka Heights.
Percefull and Jordan are owners of The Scissortail Group Ltd., a public relations firm specializing in media relations, public affairs and special events. The firm has been located on Historic Route 66 in Southwest Tulsa since 2000. Percefull and Jordan have been very active in Southwest Tulsa Community affairs. Jordan is currently president of RedFork Main Street and Percefull serves on the Tulsa Board of Education. Last year Jordan and Percefull opened RedFork Crossing, an office complex located in two renovated homes built in 1928 and 1935, respectively.
“We are very excited to be able to continue publication of the Tulsa County News, which has been a mainstay in the Southwest Tulsa Communities for many years,” Percefull said. “We will continue the papers focus on reporting the community news being generated by Southwest Tulsa’s many community organizations and institutions, like RedFork Main Street, Southwest Tulsa Chamber of Commerce, and the Southwest Tulsa Historical Society.”
New offices for the Tulsa County News and Tulsa County Publishing Inc. will be at RedFork Crossing, 3704 Southwest Blvd..
