David Wulfers of James, Potts & Wulfers, Inc. has been named president of the board of the Tulsa Press Club and Benevolent Association, said Club Manager Tami Anthamatten.
Andrea Myers of the Williams Cos., was named vice president. Ashley Parrish of the Tulsa World, will serve as secretary and Jake Dollarhide, founder and president of Longbow Assets Management, wil serve as treasurer.
New directors joining the board are Heather Hope, Tulsa Opera, Wayne Greene, Tulsa World, Mercedes Millberry, Holland Hall, Kristin Dickerson, KTUL-Channel 8 TV, Stan Whiteford, PSO, Gina Godfrey, NORDAM, and Nicole Bergin, KRMG.
Other directors currently serving on the board include Mike Miller, Cherokee Nation Enterprises, Jesse Boudiette, Bank of Oklahoma, Dan Harrison, Oneok, and Linda Sponsler, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma.
The Tulsa Press Club was founded in 1906 by a group of newspaper reporters and is located in the Atlas Life Building in downtown Tulsa at 415 S. Boston. With nearly 500 members, the Tulsa Press Club sponsors Page One luncheons featuring business, state and city leaders, promotes scholarships for journalism and communication students, and recognizes radio, television, and print icons.
