Warren Place DoubleTree Recognized

&LAThe Doubletree Hotel at Warren Place is honored with the 2009 Outstanding Community Service Award by the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
The Tulsa hotel receives the award during the annual Stars of the Industry Awards Luncheon on June 24 during the AH&LA Summer Summit in Chicago.
This annual award is one in six categories recognizing outstanding hotel programs throughout the country. Stars of the Industry Awards also honor stand-out hospitality employees in four categories. The Stars of the Industry Awards have been designated annually to AH members for more than 40 years.
The honor was designated to Doubletree Hotel at Warren Place for the 2008 contributions and work on behalf of the hotel’s Care Committee to the Ronald McDonald House, Domestic Violence Intervention Services, Neighbor to Neighbor, Meals on Wheels and the American Cancer Society Guestroom Program via Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa. Additional Care Committee contributions were made to the Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce, Tulsa Metro Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Salvation Army, Tulsa Public Schools, YMCA of Greater Tulsa and numerous missions, educational and religious organizations.
In January, the hotel was acknowledged for its contributions as the winner of the Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association’s 2009 Outstanding Community Service Award – Large Property Category; qualifying them for the national competition. U.S. Foodservice sponsored the Doubletree in Oklahoma’s awards competition.
