Williams & Williams, a Tulsa-based real estate auction firm, continues its expansion in 2006 with the addition of Fontana Fitzwilson, as vice president of corporate research and retail marketing, and Kevin Block as national corporate sales. Fitzwilson is responsible for leading the firm’s strategic marketing and research endeavors and guiding corporate sales and strategic business objectives for Williams & Williams, while Block’s duties include facilitating real estate underwriting transactions between the firm and corporate and financial institutions.
Fitzwilson comes to Williams & Williams with a background in marketing research and development. Prior to her arrival at Williams & Williams, she served as vice president of research at TV Guide, where she was responsible for directing domestic and international research for TV Guide Television Group in areas such as brand equity and positioning, programming, advertising, audience measurement, product and marketing development. Fitzwilson is an honors graduate of the University of Tulsa and a member of the American Marketing Association.
Block’s background includes experience in the mortgage industry. As a home mortgage consultant and renovation specialist for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Block originated renovation financing for many of Wells Fargo’s 23 million customers. While at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Block was the top renovation producer in 2005 in the north central division of the company. Block earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Illinois. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and currently resides in Allerton, Ill., where he is active in the Broadlands Community Club.
