Work Continues at Trinity Episcopal

Construction continues on a 7,000 SF expansion of office and administrative space at Trinity Episcopal Church, 501 S. Cincinnati Ave. in downtown Tulsa.
The construction, which includes renovations to church offices and the addition of a new entry way, reception area and surface parking, is being done by Oakridge Builders Inc. The architect for the project was Matrix Architects of Tulsa.
According to John Sames, parish administrator for Trinity, the work is being done to update the church facilities and to give the church an entrance from Sixth Street.
“We are adding classrooms, offices and a bridesroom, in addition to renovating the entire basement, second and third floors of our existing structure,” said Sames. “Surface parking is also being added to the church property on the ground where the Tulsa Auto Hotel once was.”
Trinity Episcopal Church was founded in 1903, and its current English Gothic structure was completed in 1926. %9
