Work Force Technology Summit Set

Oklahoma’s work force was recently ranking 43rd in the nation in home access to personal computer and internet services.
In response, Mayor Kathy Taylor announced the “Mayor’s Workforce and Community Technology Summit” as an effort to “bring our community leaders together to elevate digital literacy in our workforce and build community connectivity in Tulsa.”
The summit will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5 in the Seminar Center at Tulsa Community College Northeast campus, 3727 E. Apache. Registration will start at 8:45 a.m., and lunch will be provided by Allegiant Benefit Inc. Reservations must be received by Friday, Oct. 30. RSVP to communicationdept@cityoftulsa.org.
Participants will hear from locally owned companies on ways to bring technology to their employees and how they can bring digital connectors to all areas of the city.
