Work on $5 Million Glenpool Facility Set to Begin

Work is scheduled to begin in late July on a $5.3-million Glenpool facility that will house the city’s Police and Fire departments.
The facility, which is funded by a local bond issue and is being built by Crossland Construction, is expected to be complete by next summer.
The 27,700-SF complex will be at 146th Street and Elwood Avenue and will house the city’s police and fire departments, municipal courts, training rooms, and will contain four holding cells. The center will also include a fire department training facility.
