Tough Economy Prompts TU Business College ‘Stimulus’

More than 70 registrations have already been received for what the University of Tulsa Collins College of Business is calling its “own kind of stimulus.”
In light of the tough economy, the college’s Center for Executive and Professional Development is offering a special professional development course on Dec. 14 for managers and employees in the Tulsa area.
The one-day course is designed to introduce project tools that will help organizations deliver current initiatives despite a reduced workforce and difficult economy.
This course is normally $325, but on Dec. 14, the fee is just $29. Companies may send as many as five at this rate, with additional enrollees placed on a waiting list for any unclaimed seats. Unemployed members of the project manager sector will be offered a limited number of free seats. Seating for 250 is available. Register online at http://bus.collins.utulsa.edu/CEPD/modernproj.asp or call 918-631-2215.
