Willamette to Spend $90 million in Court Settlement

Willamette Industries, under an agreement reached with the Justice Department and the EPA, will spend more than $90 million to settle a major environmental suit alleging that it failed to control the amount of air pollution released from its 13 wood product factories in four states, including plywood and building material plants at Malvern and Emerson in Arkansas.
